Sigal G. Barsade is the Joseph Frank Bernstein Professor of Management at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania where she is the area coordinator of the Organizational Behavior group. Prior to that she was on the faculty of Yale University, and received her PhD from the University of California, Berkeley. She studies the influence of affect on work behavior with a focus on affect in groups and team processes; affect and individual outcomes; organizational culture; and diversity and implicit processes. She has published articles about emotional contagion in groups; the influence of emotions on organizational outcomes generally – and on creativity, decision-making and negotiations specifically; emotional intelligence; emotional organizational culture; the outcomes of specific emotions on work performance; affective diversity in top management teams and implicit emotions in organizations. She has served on the editorial boards of the Academy of Management Review, Administrative Science Quarterly; Organizational Behavior & Human Decision Processes and Organization Science, and served as co-associate editor for a special issue of Organization Science – The Psychology of Organizational Networks. Within the Academy of Management she has held the role of Organizational Behavior Division Representative at Large, was a member of the long-range planning committee for the Organizational Behavior Division, has participated as a faculty fellow and panelist in numerous doctoral and junior factory consortia, and has been a judge for multiple Best Paper Awards.

Dr. Ronald F. Piccolo
is the Chair of the Department of Management and the Galloway Professor of Management in the College of Business at the University of Central Florida. From 2009 – 2016, he served as the Cornell Professor of Management and Academic Director of the Center for Leadership Development & Executive Education in the Crummer Graduate School of Business at Rollins College. Dr. Piccolo earned a Ph.D. in management from the University of Florida, an M.B.A. from Rollins, and a Bachelors of Science in mathematics from Stetson University. He has been a visiting scholar at Drexel University in Philadelphia, Jacobs University in Bremen, Germany, and the Amsterdam Business School. Dr. Piccolo teaches or has taught graduate-level courses in leadership, organizational behavior (OB), research methods, and management strategy. At Rollins College, he was the recipient of the Cornell Distinguished Teaching Award (2015-2016) and the Cornell Distinguished Faculty Award (2011-2012) for outstanding teaching, research and service, and he was a keynote speaker (2012, 2013, 2014) on “Teaching Effectiveness” for the OB division of the Academy of Management.

Dr. Rebecca (Becky) Bennett

She studies the “dark side” of organizational behavior (employee deviance), insider threats to cyber security, embeddedness, pay communication, touch in the workplace, and forgiveness. Bennett has served on the editorial boards for the Journal of Organizational Behavior and Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes. She has served the OB division as a new member mentor (2017, 2018), as a member of the Best Dissertation-based paper committee (2005, 2008), and as a reviewer, symposium organizer, presenter, and discussant.

Dr. Elizabeth George
is a Professor of Management in the Graduate School of Management of the University of Auckland. She has an active research interest in nonstandard work arrangements and diversity in the workplace. She is a member of multiple editorial boards and has in the past been an Associate Editor of the Academy of Management Annals, the Australian Journal of Management, Organizational Psychology Review, and Organization Studies, and co-editor in chief of Organizational Psychology Review. She is currently on the Board of Governors of the Academy of Management. She has served the OB division as a member of the Cummings Scholarly Achievement Award committee in 2010 and 2011, as a Facilitator in OB Division Doctoral Consortium in 2010, as a speaker for the Global Committee in 2017, and as a session chair, reviewer and presenter. Prior to joining the faculty at the University of Auckland, George served on the faculty at the Hong Kong University, Australian Graduate School of Management, the University of Queensland and Western Michigan University as well as visiting positions at Duke University and the Indian School of Business. She has a Ph.D. in Organization Science from the University of Texas at Austin, an M.A. in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations from the Tata Institute of Social Sciences.

Prior to joining the LSE in 2013, she worked as an Assistant Professor of Organisational Behaviour at the University of Western Australia. Oscar Holmes IV
is an Associate Professor of Management and Director of Access and Outreach for Business Education at Rutgers School of Business-Camden where he teaches executive education, graduate, and undergraduate courses in Leadership, Organizational Behavior, Negotiation, and Crisis Management. His research examines how leaders can maximize productivity and well-being through fostering more inclusive environments and has been published in several top-tier management journals and books. In 2018, he was named one of Poets & Quants 40 Under 40 Best Business School Professors. He serves as a member of the editorial review boards of Organizational Psychology Review, Journal of Business & Psychology, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion: An International Journal, Africa Journal of Management and as an ad hoc reviewer for several other management journals. Across AOM, he has served in a number of roles including serving as GDO Division Representative-at-Large from 2014-2017 where he chaired the GDO Jr. Faculty and Doctoral Students consortia and several best paper committees from 2014 to the present. In 2020, he served on the Organizational Behavior Division’s Outstanding Publication in OB Award committee and has been a frequent panelist for the OB Division’s doctoral consortium. Additionally, he is the founder of WHConsulting Firm LLC and creator and host of Diversity Matters podcast. He earned a Ph.D. and M.A. in Management from The University of Alabama, M.L.A. from The University of Richmond and a B.S. with honors from Virginia Commonwealth University. He lives in New Jersey with his husband, Kris, and their son, Kristian.

Shimul Melwani

Her research focuses on how organizations facilitate morally problematic behavior, and how individuals can exercise their agency to steer organizations for the better. Celia is currently an Academic Fellow of the Ethics and Compliance Initiative, a collaborator at EthicalSystems.Org, and sits on the UK’s Banking Standards Board Assessment Steering Committee. Her service to the Academy of Management includes sitting on the academy-wide Ethics Adjudication Committee (2018-2021), as well as serving on the committee to select the William H. Newman Award, which recognizes the best annual meeting paper based on a dissertation (2018), and the committee to select the Outstanding Publication in Organizational Behavior (2019).

Payal Sharma
is Assistant Professor of Management in the Lee Business School at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. She studies power and stress in organizations, with an emphasis on identifying how, and where, people have agency and control in their job settings when challenging situations arise. Her teaching portfolio includes courses on power and politics in organizations and leadership and managerial skills for undergraduate students. She has been an active member of the Academy of Management since 2006. Her engagement has included founding a stress management professional development workshop for junior faculty in 2016 – through which she seeks to promote mind-body health for our field, and which is now held annually. In addition, she was a co-organizer for the Organizational Behavior and Conflict Management Divisions' PDW and Junior Faculty Consortium in 2018, Being Successful Despite Demands, Distractions, and Difficult Situations. More recently, she served as a committee member to help select the paper winner of the 2020 Outstanding Practical Implications for Management Award for AOM. Prior to joining the faculty at UNLV, Sharma was a visiting faculty member at the Wharton School and tenure-track faculty member at Rutgers Business School—Newark and New Brunswick. Her professional experience includes working for Harvard Business School, as an External Relations special events organizer; and at the U.S. Government Printing Office (GPO), as a human capital specialist. She is an avid yogi who also enjoys boxing, spin, and strength training classes, and spending time with her dogs, Chai and Samosa (Sammie).

David Wagner
is the Doug McKay Research Scholar and Associate Professor of Management at the University of Oregon’s Lundquist College of Business. He is a graduate of the Management Department at Michigan State University. Prior to his appointment at the Lundquist College, Wagner was an assistant professor at Singapore Management University where he received multiple awards for his research and teaching. Wagner studies the interface between work and life domains, with an eye toward human sustainability. This work examines mechanisms related to moods and emotions, social interactions, and sleep and fatigue. His research has been published in outlets including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, and Journal of Sleep Research. Findings from this research have made their way into popular outlets including Harvard Business Review, Wall Street Journal, Last Week Tonight with John Oliver (“That’s right, what you lose in sleep, you gain in mortal danger!”), and, much to the delight of his mother, Costco Magazine. Wagner has also contributed directly to policy, testifying before a special commission of the Massachusetts state legislature. In addition to his research and teaching activities, Wagner has served the OB division in numerous capacities, regularly hosting tables at the OB Division Making Connections session, and mentoring doctoral students at various consortia during the AOM annual meeting. Wagner currently serves on the editorial boards of Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology, and Academy of Management Discoveries, where he is a founding editorial board member.

Bradley L. Kirkman is the General (Ret.) H. Hugh Shelton Distinguished Professor of Leadership and Department Head of the Department of Management, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in the Poole College of Management at North Carolina State University. He received his Ph.D. in Organizational Behavior from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. His research focuses on leadership, international management, virtual teams, and work team leadership and empowerment. He was formerly the Foreman R. and Ruby Bennett Endowed Chair in Business Administration in the Mays Business School at Texas A&M University. He has held visiting professor positions in the Department of Management and Organizations at the University of Western Australia in 2006 and the Guanghua School of Management at Peking University in 2012. His articles have appeared in such journals as the Academy of Management Journal, the Academy of Management Review, the Academy of Management Executive, Journal of Applied Psychology, Personnel Psychology, Journal of Management, Journal of International Business Studies, and Leadership Quarterly. In 2014, he was elected as a Fellow of both the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology and the American Psychological Association. Dr. Natalia (Nataly) M. Lorinkova is an assistant professor at the McDonough School of Business, Georgetown University, Washington DC. She completed her PhD in Management at the R. H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland. Her research focuses on leadership and social diversity issues (with emphases on dynamic and multi-level leadership processes and accent, body image, and time-theft issues in organizations). Nataly also examines interpersonal dynamics in non-traditional work arrangements such as virtual teams, teleworking, and working from home. From a methodological perspective, Nataly is interested in growth modeling, multi-level modeling and, most recently, polynomial surface plotting techniques. Her research has appeared in leading academic journals such as Academy of Management Journal, Personnel Psychology and Journal of Management. Laura Erskine is Acting Adjunct Professor of Health Policy and Management and Director of the MPH Programs in Health Policy and Management at UCLA. She received her Ph.D. in Business Administration from the Marshall School of Business at the University of Southern California and her MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. Her teaching interests are in the area of healthcare, organizational behavior and leadership. Eean R. Crawford is an Associate Professor of Management and Organizations and Director of Graduate Studies of Management and Organizations in the Tippie College of Business at the University of Iowa. He received his doctorate in management in 2011 from the University of Florida, and his MAcc and B.S. in Accounting from Brigham Young University in 2006. As a Henry B. Tippie Research Fellow, he conducts research on employee engagement, team effectiveness, leadership, and personality. He has also received a PhD in Data Compression(Field: Computer Science and Engineering) and an MBA from National Cheng Kung University, Taiwan. He was on the faculty of Korea University, South Korea and Feng Chia University, Taiwan. In the engineering field, he has published more than 41 research papers in well-regarded journals such as IEEE Transactions on Multimedia, IEEE Transactions on Circuit and Systems for Video Technology, IEEE Transactions on Very Large Scale Integration, and ACM Transactions on Embedded Computing Systems. In 2012, based on his contribution to Information and Communication Technologies, the government of Taiwan presented him with an unconditional Permanent Residency status (Plum Blossom card), which grants special and prestigious status in Taiwan. Also, the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) recognized his professional contributions by awarding him the IEEE Senior Member grade, which is the highest honor and international recognition for engineering professionals. In the management field, his work has appeared in journals such as Journal of Business Ethics and Leadership Quarterly. His current research interests include leader humility, paradoxical leadership, knowledge hiding, innovation ambidexterity, entrepreneurship, Internet Of Things (IoT), and Video Coding.

Elizabeth (Beth) Campbell is a Lawrence Research Fellow and Assistant Professor of Work and Organizations at the University of Minnesota’s Carlson School of Management where she teaches management and leadership development. Her research focuses on interpersonal interactions in workgroups with particular focus on the hidden consequences that high performers spark for themselves, their peers, and their teams.
