The mission of the Social Media Committee (SMC) is to produce and promote Internet-based materials and resources to better showcase the activities and scholarship of the OB division to the division’s members and to the public.
- Produce content: We identify and/or create materials that the division’s membership and the public would find relevant and interesting. For example, noteworthy scholars might be interviewed, and these interviews would be recorded for conversion into online videos.
- Promote content: After identifying resources or creating materials, we distribute these along channels that will get them noticed. This includes the OB division Listserv, online groups where OBHR practitioners frequent, Facebook, Twitter, AOMConnect, and other relevant online outlets.
