New Member Research & Networking Forum 2010, Saturday, Aug. 7th (3:15 - 4:45 p.m.)

The goal of the New Member Research & Networking Forum is to be an informal opportunity for new members to the OB Division to learn more about the division, meet other new members, and connect with established members of the division. The Forum is a place where new members can discuss their shared research interests while meeting new colleagues.

Rather than presentations, the Forum will use round table discussions. Tables based on overarching OB research topics are each anchored by two established names in their respective fields. Faculty fellows and table topics include:

• Leadership & Power: Gretchen Spreitzer, Fred Walumbwa
• Creativity & Innovation: Teresa Amabile, Christina Shalley
• Team Processes & Effectiveness: Scott DeRue, John Mathieu
• Diversity & Cross-Cultural Management: David Harrison, Belle Rose Ragins
• Identity: Blake Ashforth, Shelly Brickson
• Motivation: Gary Latham, Alex Stajkovic
• Organizational Citizenship & Prosocial Behavior: Michael Crant, Philip Podsakoff
• Relational & Social Processes (e.g., trust, justice): Russell Cropanzano, Terri Scandura
