Student Rep Bios
|David Newman is a Ph.D. student in Management and Organization at the University of Southern California. He earned his B.A. in psychology from Yale University and his J.D. from Harvard Law School. His research interests include moral foundations theory, business ethics, meaning-making behaviors, personal and organizational identity, and the psychology of technology. Prior to entering the Ph.D. program, David worked for EthicalSystems.org, a non-profit collaboration of researchers dedicated to the advancement of a systems approach to better business practices.|
|A.J. Corner is a PhD candidate in the Managerial Sciences department of Georgia State University, majoring in Organizational Behavior with a minor specialization in International Business. He is originally from the United Kingdom and completed his BA (Modern Languages, Durham University) and MBA (Open University) in his home country. A.J.’s research interests are focused on interpersonal relationships in the workplace and are primarily grounded in social exchange theory. In his dissertation, he examines team dynamics and the relationship between negotiating parties. A.J.’s research builds on his professional background prior to entering the PhD program. He previously worked in banking, consulting and educational roles, and gained international experience through employment in Germany, Japan, France and Argentina.|
|Kylie Rochford is a PhD candidate in the Department of Organizational Behavior at Case Western Reserve University. Kylie’s research focuses on interpersonal relationships at work including relational climate, relational efficacy, task-relationship tensions, and organizational citizenship behavior. Kylie is originally from New Zealand and holds a Bachelor and Masters of Commerce from the University of Canterbury. Outside of school, Kylie enjoys road cycling, karate, skiing, and the occasional craft beer.|
